Linda Nolans tragic cancer update as she fears she wont see next Christmas
Linda Nolan has said she isn’t sure she will see another Christmas amid her cancer battle.
The singing star, 64, was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, and although she beat it at the time the illness returned in 2017. She has said it can't be cured and earlier this year she revealed during an appearance on Good Morning Britain (GMB) that the cancer had now spread to her brain.
Linda has now shared a health update, telling Woman magazine that the festive season would be “extra special” this year because “I don’t know if I’ll see it next year". The star said she now wants to focus on making memories.

“Sometimes it’s hard but I never want cancer to win,” said Linda, who is best known for her popular sibling singing group The Nolans. “Sometimes I slide down the wall and cry my eyes out because I’m having a bad day, but 99.9% of the time I’m OK."
Last year the star said that in a way knowing that her cancer was not curable had given her “a little sense of freedom”. She said it did so in that she now does the things that she wants to do.
“It gives me a new perspective on life for me because I don't know how long I've got,” she said on GMB. “Whatever time I've got left, I want to make memories and have a great time."
The Nolan family has faced cancer before – ten years ago Linda lost her 52-year-old sister Bernie to the disease. And another of her siblings, 73-year-old Anne, has battled the illness twice.
Then this year the singer's younger sister Coleen told fans that she had a brush with it herself. The Loose Women panelist, 58, revealed that she had been diagnosed with skin cancer, explaining that doctors told her she had pre-melanoma on her face and carcinoma on her shoulder.
However, she assured fans on Instagram that she would be OK as she “found it in time”.
