BBC Breakfast in fresh hosting shakeup as regular presenter disappears after backlash from fans | The Sun

BBC Breakfast has had a fresh hosting shakeup as a regular presenter disappeared after backlash from fans.

Charlie Stayt was on the red sofa but his regular co-host Naga Munchetty was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, he was joined by Sarah Campbell, who looked stylish in navy blue blouse and long skirt.

Naga's absence comes a day after she was slammed by some BBC Breakfast viewers for talking over her guests on Thursday's show.

One pair included Strictly's Jody Cundy and his professional partner Jowita Przystal.

One wrote: "When will @TVNaga01 realise that if she talks/shouts over what an interviewee is saying, we the viewers do not understand what anyone is saying. Please stop it Naga."

Another tweeted: "Absolutely unwatchable with you presenting, you’re so stilted, you’re not a natural."

Charlie and Naga had only been back together for one day after the 61-year-old journalist had enjoyed a two week break from the show.

In his absence, Naga had hosted the programme with an array of other co-hosts including Ben Thompson.

Naga shared a wide shot snap of the studio, showing herself and Charlie on the sofa while Mike Bushell, Ben Boulos and Matt Taylor stood off camera at various points.
