Over the years, Bruno Tonioli sat side-by-side with Len Goodman on Strictly Come Dancing, laughing and crying while watching some celebrities blossom into magnificent performers, while chuckling as others fell short of the mark; thus, when the time came to perform a stunning tribute to the late judge, the Italian burst into tears.
During this week's episode of the American show, Dancing With the Stars, the legend headed to the dance floor, with the weight of the world on his shoulders. Wanting to produce a sensational performance worthy of honouring his dear friend, he got his head in the game and produced a spectacular effort.
His powerful display moved the audience and left Bruno himself with little left to give. Overcome with grief, he sprinted off the stage and looked for a shoulder to cry on.

Len, who loved the waltz, would've been moved by the performance. The Strictly icon passed away in April at the age of 78 following a hard-fought battle with prostate cancer, which spread to his bones.
Having given so much to his performance, it appears that Bruno's remarkable display caught the hearts of the viewers. With tears in their eyes, the public flocked to Twitter to express their opinions.
One fan wrote: "The Len tribute dance was literally perfect. Every detail, down to the lighting, was just beautiful. Crying on my couch!"
With a heavy heart, another Dancing with the Stars viewer typed: "Anyone else just crying with full-body chills after that dance for Len Goodman?! Beautiful tribute."
Equally impressed with Bruno's moves, a third said: "Wonderful tribute to Len Goodman. He clearly connected so deeply with his peers, and how phenomenal for him to have practised and continued to experience his passion in his later years."
During his time on television, Len became not just a beloved friend to his fellow judges, but also to his audiences who loved his enthusiasm. With an unrelenting passion for dance, the Hampshire-born star loved every second of his journey, and his memory will live on for a long time to come.
Len joined Strictly in 2004, regularly catching attention for his witty judging style. His time on the show lasted for a whopping 12-years, with plenty of memories made.
In an effort to showcase just how much he meant to the dancing world, Dancing with the Stars have renamed their trophy to, 'The Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy'.
