Big Brother star recalls Loose Women feud and says host never apologised to her

Big Brother star Nicola McLean has recalled her TV feud with Loose Women's Denise Welch.

They both starred on Celebrity Big Brother together in 2012 and clashed heads a couple of times – though Nicola claimed she had her best interests at heart. The former Page 3 star then recited a time when she claimed Denise was "drunk" and ended up flashing her boobs to the rest of her housemates and viewers at home.

In a bid to help the star, Nicola ran to her rescue to try and cover her up and put her clothes back. She explained: "I was just trying to help her because if I was that drunk, I'd want someone to sort me out.

"Now she's sober, and she's been sober for a long time. I think it's step four of AA is making amends, which, she works the programme. And I feel like if you watch that back and see some things, she should have made amends, but she never had.

"She wrote about me in her book too which I found upsetting. I think after she got sober, I may have expected her to look back with a bit of perspective. And maybe have reached out but she'd never did, so that's a shame. I thought after reflecting on it that she would have apologised, but she never did, which is a shame, but…"

Nicola also chose Denise as the "wildest" housemate in her series after her antics took the title. Ex-glamour model Nicola said: "Denise Welch was probably most wild, she just used to flash her boobs constantly, she loved getting her boobs out."

Nicola also opened up about a time when she broke house rules with her co-star Bianca Gascoigne during the 2017 series of CBB. The model explained: "Me and Bianca wrote who we're going to nominate on the mirrors, that's breaking rules.

"My wildest memories were with me and Bianca, drinking too much and waking up and not remembering anything. From trying to go to the toilet together and write on the mirror the next day to try and piece together our night.

"We'd use lipstick and write things on the mirror including who we were going to nominate. We weren't allowed to speak about nominations between us."

Big Brother airs Sunday to Thursday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm followed by Big Brother Late & Live at 10pm
