Corrie fans twig Doms true intentions in dark twist after spotting major clue
Coronation Street fans are convinced that they have rumbled a sinister upcoming twist involving Eliza’s long-lost dad Dom.
Loyal fans of the ITV soap will recall that the youngster was recently reunited with her estranged father for the first time since birth after she tracked him down on social media.
At first, the teen’s protective grandfather and guardian Stu was horrified to see Dom with Eliza once he realised who he was.

After learning he was Eliza’s dad, Stu wasn’t sure Dom was the man he claimed to be, leading the newcomer to show him a picture of himself, Bridget and his daughter as a newborn tot.
Dom explained that he hadn’t seen her for so long and was thrilled to be reunited with her after missing out on most of her childhood.
And things quickly took a turn for the worse when Stu took matters into his own hands, hellbent on proceeding with legal action in a bid to stop him from getting access to his daughter.
But earlier this week, he had a change of heart when Dom insisted he only wants what is best for Eliza and for a change to get to know his little girl.
But warning bells rang for viewers on Friday (September 1) when Stu and Eliza met Dom in the precinct where he suggested they all go for ice cream.
However, Dom made out that he had forgot to pick up his wallet which left Eliza to let slip that Stu is “minted” so he could cover the bill as Dom’s ears pricked as he asked what he did for work.
Long-time fans of the show will recall that Stu’s daughter and Eliza’s mother Bridget was sent to prison over a historic crime.
Stu had been wrongly imprisoned for the same crime years later, only for it to emerge that his daughter was the real killer.
Due to wrongful imprisonment, the doting grandfather received an eye-watering £200,000 in compensation.
But with the distant dad now knowing that Stu is “minted”, fans believe he could secretly be after his money in a devastating upcoming twist.

After watching the dramatic scenes hit the airwaves, viewers flooded to the social media platform X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their suspicions online.
One user penned: “Eliza’s dad playing the ‘I forgot my wallet’ card! #Corrie” as another agreed: “’He’s minted now’ – not something you want to reveal to someone who’s supposedly forgot their wallet #Corrie.”
A third echoed: “Oooo, wrong move Eliza, bragging that your grandad is minted. Might’ve just created a way for your dad to take advantage #Corrie.”
