EastEnders family ripped apart as sex secret exposed to crowded pub

EastEnders: Cindy returns to Albert Square

EastEnders’ Ian Beale (played by Adam Woodyatt) is set to rip his family apart in upcoming episodes of the BBC soap when he reveals a big secret.

Fans know how much Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) fancies Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) and he’s been trying to move up from just being friends ever since she turned up in the Square.

However, it seems his best friend Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) will betray his trust by getting caught up in a moment of passion with Anna – and Ian will later reveal the truth to a crowded pub.

In scenes yet to air, Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) humiliates Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) in The Vic as she attempts to make amends.

Freddie struggles with his guilt about Anna, but there is clearly a spark between the pair.

Later, Freddie confides in Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), who convinces him to keep it secret for Bobby’s sake.

Ian reassures Cindy after her run-in at The Vic and promises her a new business to woo Gina and Anna.

Later, Peter persuades Ian to try and make amends with Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), but Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) isn’t buying it.

Whilst in the café, Ian has a brainwave about a new plan, but he will need investment.

In an attempt to get it, he invites Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) for lunch.

Ian’s business lunch with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Nish doesn’t go to plan though.

It’s not long before any potential deal is off the table. Later, Cindy heads to number 41 to persuade Nish to rethink.

At The Albert, Peter Beale (Thomas Law) tries to make amends with Gina and Anna, who are shocked to learn that Peter knew nothing about their existence.

He also tries to mend things between Bobby and Anna, but Freddie quickly makes his excuses and sits separately, consumed by guilt for sleeping with Anna.

Ian is desperate to progress his business deal with Nish and invites him to the café for a taster menu, but without a plan, he ropes in Alfie for help.

Nish rearranges, and Ian and Alfie have a heart-to-heart about his current insecurities.

After discussing his concerns for Bobby and Anna’s budding relationship, Alfie reveals all about her one-night stand with Freddie.

Ian agrees to keep it a secret, but after George Knight (Colin Salmon) belittles him in front of Nish in The Vic, he blurts out the news in front of Bobby and Cindy, unaware she’s watching.

Cindy will no doubt be mortified for her daughter that Ian spilled her secrets in front of the whole Square, while Bobby will be furious with Freddie as well as his dad for keeping it from him.

After upsetting so many of his family members, how will Ian reunite everyone?

EastEnders continues on Wednesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
