I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers have been left in shock after discovering the reason behindJamie Lynn Spears’ name.

Jamie Lynn, who is the younger sister of Britney Spears, has been busy adjusting to life in the ITV jungle and recently faced her first solo Bushtucker Trial whenshe was tasked with taking on the Climb of Cruelty challenge.

But besides watching the actress and singer completing Bushtucker trials, viewers have been distracted by the very unique reasoning behind the star’s name.

As the daughter of Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears, 32 year old Jamie Lynn’s name is a combination of both her father and mother’s names.

And, to make matters even more baffling,Jamie Lynn’s husband Jamie Watson also shares her first name – much to the confusion of social media users on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Wait a second so, jamie lynn spears’s parents are jamie and lynne… and her husbands name is jamie..???,” wrote one social media user.

“Sorry why is Jamie Lynn Spears husband called Jamie… and also why is her dad called Jamie and her mum called Lynne what is happening,” added another.

A third wrote: “How have I only just found out that Jamie Lynn Spears has a husband called Jamie? Not to be confused with her dad Jamie or her mum Lynn. #ImACeleb”.

Meanwhile, a fourth simply said: “Fancy being named after both your mum and dad lol #JamieLynn #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity #Britney”.

Since stepping foot in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, the Zoey 101 actress has been vocal about her feelings of homesickness and her desire to see her two children.

Earlier this week,reports alleged that I’m A Celeb bosses were worried for the star after she came across as “miserable” and appeared to be “isolating” herself from her fellow campmates.

Then, on Tuesday 21 November’s episode, Jamie Lynn wondered why she was “so emotionally weak” and that being in the jungle felt “a little bit overwhelming”.

After seeing Jamie express her concerns,some viewers took to X to express their fears that she could exit the show early.

“Jamie Lynn Spears exit is on the horizon I fear.. #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity,” wrote one.

“Jamie Lynne trying her hardest to make it 72 hours so she can quit and still get the paycheque #ImACeleb,” added another.
