ITV Loose Women’s Linda Robson ‘ready to find love again’ weeks after marriage split
Linda Robson has revealed she's ready to find love again, just weeks after her split from her husband of 33 years, Mark Dunford.
The Loose Women panellist, 65, opened up about her hopes for a new romance during a chat with her fellow panellists on the ITV show.
During the discussion about "husband hunting", host Charlene White shared some advice about where to find different types of men.
She joked that if you're after a "suited and booted guy", you should head to the city, but if you want a "red trouser" man, West London is the place to be.
Linda was puzzled by the term "red trouser man", prompting Charlene to explain: "Like a really, really posh dude. Red trousers, boat shoes, always goes out in a shirt even when there's no need to!"
A bemused Linda responded: "I've never met anyone like that!" But by the end of the show, she declared: "I'm going to look for someone with red trousers!"
She added: "My mission now in life is to find someone with red trousers, it doesn't matter what he looks like, as long as he's got red trousers on!"
Co-star Jane Moore then suggested Linda join a cycling club to which the star exclaimed: "I've got a knee replacement coming up, I can't get on a bike! I fell off an electric scooter, didn't I, shouldn't have been on one in the first place!"
Charlene then quipped: "I tell you what, once you've had your knee replacement, Jane will take you to a cycling club and then you can find your man from the red trousers brigade!"
Elsewhere on the show, the panellists discussed: "Should you buy your partner a Christmas present?" when Linda was asked about her festive plans.
Linda remained shtum on any mention of Mark but did reveal of her family plans: "I like buying presents but I prefer making memories.
"So this year we're all going away between Christmas and New Year, I'm paying for us all to go away for a couple of days. Then we're going to go see [Christopher] Biggins in panto in Southampton.
"As you get older, you don't know how long you've got left, do you, so you might as well make the most of it. But it's true, you don't know!"
Linda didn't specify if Mark was joining the family on the trip but she did say she would be taking her children to the panto.
Linda recently shared that she's been spending time with her family and going on regular trips to distract herself from the split.
Linda and Mark first met when they were teens but didn't start dating until later. They got married in 1990 and have two children together; Roberta, 27, and Louis, 31.
