Loose Women: Linda Robson talks about her marriage breakup

Linda Robson opened up about her marriage breakdown on Thursday’s Loose Women.

Speaking on the ITV chatshow, the 65-year-old shared her own experience while discussing relationships.

“If something’s not right in a relationship then I find it very hard to disguise it,” she confessed.

The Birds of a Feather actress continued: “And things haven’t been right in my relationship for quite a long time, so I’ve been very honest about it.

“But my mum is completely different. She’s Catholic Irish, she married my dad when she was quite young and my dad was just bit of a rascal really.”

Linda has been married to husband Mark Dunford for more then 30 years, but recent comments made on the ITV show suggest the couple have decided to split up.

Following rumours, she stated at the start of the month that she is happy on her own.

As the panel discussed finding love at an older age, Linda remarked: “I’ve got companions, I’ve got friends, I’ve got you a lot, I’ve got my grandchildren, I’ve got my kids.

“I don’t need anyone else, I’m happy as I am.”

She went on: “I like doing things on my own anyway when I go away I can watch what I want on the telly, I can eat what I want.”

In a candid admission, she added: “Well imagine having to get undressed, I’ve never got undressed in front of my husband let alone a stranger or someone that I’ve just met.

“I know I talk about sex a lot but I haven’t had it in about two years, I can’t be a***d with that anymore.”

Fans began to wonder earlier this year if Linda and Mark had separated after Linda detailed how she had enjoyed holidaying alone throughout the summer.

In August, Linda addressed the rumours about her split with Mark as she admitted they were still living together at the time.

Explaining that every marriage has “hiccups”, she’s yet to officially confirm a split from Mark, but her comments point towards a separation between them.
