NCIS fans fume at Australian spin-off tease just months after LA cancellation
Watch the trailer for NCIS: Sydney
Fans of the NCIS franchise were left furious at the first look at Australia’s new spin-off which will arrive just six months after the NCIS Los Angeles was cancelled.
NCIS Sydney will become the fourth addition to the franchise and much like the original, it will follow the same procedural format but will take place in international waters.
Unlike NCIS Hawaii which takes place on the scenic island, this will be the first time the CBS drama will travel across the globe.
Bosses have provided major insight into the series with the release of an action-packed trailer and first-look images across social media.
However, it seems not everyone was pleased with the prospects of the NCIS-verse growing as many called for the return of the beloved Los Angeles spin-off.

The NCISverse’s official Instagram page shared the teaser and announced an official release date in a post which read: “Buckle up – the #NCISverse is headed down under.
“The series premiere of #NCISSydney comes to your screens: AU Friday, November 10 on Paramount+ Australia, US Monday, November 13 on CBS.”
Although the cast was photographed with the NCIS clapperboard in front of Sydney’s scenic Harbour Bridge, some fans were not satisfied.
A furious @alohajman commented: “Bring back NCIS: New Orleans and Los Angeles. I’m not investing in a new show when the other shows still had life in them.”
