AGGIE Bailey is the matriarch of the Bailey family on the Coronation Street cobbles but she has been missing in action lately.
The character has been missing during a crucial period of time for the family but just where is she?
Where is Aggie?
Although there has been no definitive reason for Aggie's – played by Lorna Laidlaw -current whereabouts, she has occasionally been mentioned by her on-screen family.
Her husband Ed (Trevor Michael Georges), son Michael (Ryan Russell) and daughter Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) have all made reference to her work and other family members as a reason for her disappearance.
A commited nurse, Aggie has faced long shifts at the hospital under difficult circumstances.
On screen, the character has referenced the strenuous times facing the NHS and how she is often left exhausted by long night shifts.

Aggie took some time away from the show before in 2021.
Although her brief exit was never formally confirmed, she quickly got stuck back into life in Weatherfield with her beloved family.
