A Place In The Sun presenter Laura Hamilton’s unknown Big Brother connection
Laura Hamilton has revealed an unlikely connection with former Big Brother host Davina McCall.
On Wednesday, the A Place In The Sun presenter shared a snippet from a recent interview, in which she discussed 15 of her “favourite things” for the publication.
As well as revealing to Women’s Best that she loved ITV’s reality series, My Mum, Your Dad, which is hosted by Davina, Laura, 41, detailed her previously unknown work history with the TV legend.
In a picture of the interview, shared with her 187,000 Instagram followers, there was a section entitled ‘Celebrity Hero’.
Detailing the reason she looks up to the former Big Brother host, Laura wrote: “Davina McCall – I think she’s wicked.

“I used to be an assistant floor manager on Big Brother years ago so I worked with her then, although I’m not sure if she would remember it.”
Davina presented 11 seasons of Big Brother between 2000 and 2010, as well as seven seasons of Celebrity Big Brother between the years 2001 and 2010.
After stints on The Biggest Loser and Five Minutes to a Fortune, Davina began presenting The Jump in 2014 – which is where the pair met again.
“I also did the first series of The Jump with her three weeks after I’d had my first child, Rocco, so she was cuddling him a lot,” Laura continued.
Earlier this month, Laura got candid on social media and spoke about how she believed she had successfully “rebuilt” in the last few years.

Taking to social media, the presenter shared a video of a brand new Land Rover Defender 90 which she had purchased.
In the caption, she wrote: “Yesterday was a very exciting day for me… and one that I’ll remember forever.
“I have worked unbelievably hard over the last few years to rebuild my life to make my children, friends and family proud,”
“I came from a family that always taught me you have to work hard to create the life you want, and that is something I have always done always will, despite whatever challenges I face.”
The milestone comes almost two years after she and former husband Alex Goward called time on their 10-year marriage.
At the time of their separation, Laura took to Instagram and wrote: “This isn’t something I ever thought I’d be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated.
“Our children are and always will be our number one priority and we would respect privacy for our family at this time. Laura.”
