Christina Aguilera has opened up about potentially being written about in Britney Spears’ upcoming memoir, The Woman In Me.
The highly anticipated book has been described as a “brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.”
Through excerpts, Britney has addressed her early beginnings in the entertainment industry as well as her highly publicised relationship with Justin Timberlake.
As Christina and Britney starred in The Mickey Mouse Club as youngsters with Justin and Ryan Gosling, it’s likely the Dirty singer could be acknowledged in the memoir.
However, as well as their early run-in, the two were embroiled in a bitter feud over the title of Pop Princess.

As Britney topped the charts with her debut single Baby One More Time, Christina followed closely behind with Genie in the Bottle which was released eight months later.
As a result of the comparisons, the singers took swipes at each other during interviews.
Things seemed to kick off after Britney and Justin’s break up in 2002, when Christina went on tour with him for their Justified and Stripped tour and the women continued to take shots at each other.
Although their feud has gone quiet, the Candyman singer was asked about Britney’s upcoming book during a recent appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live!

After the host asked: “Do you think you’ll be in it?” Christina laughed: “Dude, I don’t know.”
Jimmy probed: “Are you hoping that you’re in it,” she answered: “I don’t know, I’m hoping everything is all good with her and everything’s beautiful.”
Christina continued: “The future should be celebrated.”
In 2003, the singer pointed to the unforgettable Britney and Madonna MTV kiss as the start of their rivalry.

As the cameras cut to Justin’s reaction to the smooch, the shot missed Madonna kissing Christina straight after Britney.
In an interview in 2018, Christina said of the moment: “It was weird. They cut away to get Justin’s reaction.
“They were still exes, but it was a cheap shot…I definitely saw the newspaper that next day, and it was like ‘Oh well, I guess I got left out of that one.’”
She later took a shot at Britney’s engagement ring from Kevin Federline, in 2004 when she told US Weekly: “It looks like she got it at QVC. I know Britney. She’s not trailer trash, but she sure acts that way.”
