Eamonn Holmes enjoys ice cream on his mobility scooter amid health woes
Despite his recent health ailments, GB News frontman Eamonn Holmes has been putting on a brave face this week.
The 63-year-old presenter, who last week told viewers of the talk-show that he "can't run – can't walk – can't do anything except watch TV and eat", has spent the last several months becoming accustomed to using a mobility scooter for transportation.
But in a brand new Instagram snap posted on Friday, the former This Morning host appeared in good spirits as he enjoyed a day slurping on some ice cream in the sun.
The star shared his photo from Goodwood Festival of Speed – an annual motorsports festival featuring modern and historic motor racing vehicles taking part in fun-fuelled events.
Posing in a cool cerulean shirt and aviator shades from the comfort of his mobility scooter, apparent petrolhead Eamonn captioned the photo: "Gorgeous day for a Poke… and just look at Cars at Goodwood".
And several fans were quick to gush in the comment section, telling Eamonn how much healthier he looked compared to earlier this year.
"Sending love Eamonn your looking well that ice cream looks good," one of his 801,000 followers wrote.
Another added, "You're out and about enjoying the sunshine that's all that matters living your best life", whilst a third continued, "Whatever works for you kid, keep fighting!!"
Though the Irish TV star appears to be taking his mind off his poor health with a day in the sun, he also shared an update with fans, posting a photo in which he can be seen on a back stretcher wearing a headband.
"I look like an 80's Disco dancer [dancing man emoji] …. but actually on a rack having my neck and back stretched. Spine decompression [thumbs up emoji]", he wrote alongside the picture.
His concerned wife, Loose Women panelist Ruth Langsford, rushed to the comments and penned: "Ouch! I like the 80’s vibe though! X".
Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway also commented saying: "What was it like? Did it help?! Looking good though xxx"
Speaking on GB News earlier this week, Eamonn told guest Tim Franklin, : "I can't run, I can't walk, I can't do anything except watch TV and eat.
"I just got problems last year in my back, which I haven't recovered from. It's not good, it's not a good recipe I have to say. You are a good motivation for all of us. What would you say to people out there who just have not got that motivation?"
