Gaby Roslin recalls recreating scene from When Harry Met Sally
Gaby Roslin has candidly revealed the moment she recreated a famous scene with Billy Crystal on her BBC Radio 2 show.
The broadcaster spoke on Zoe Ball’s Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 this morning about her new book and recalled one moment when Billy Crystal was on her show.
“My all time number one favourite film is When Harry Met Sally,” Gaby explained. “And Billy Crystal was on the show!
“I still can’t believe that. He hung around for the whole show. I got to do a scene from When Harry Met Sally.”
Zoe joked: “Not ‘the’ scene?”

“Yes. Yes. I did that scene!” Gaby giggled, whilst Zoe gasped: “No!”
“With Billy! With Billy. And Lily Savage [Paul O’Grady] saying ‘I’ll have what she’s having’.”
Gaby then sighed and said: “Bless Paul.”
Paul O’Grady died at the age of 67 on March 28 and Gaby would occasionally sit in for the late presenter on his BBC Radio 2 show.
His character Lily Savage rose to prominence as a drag act in the 1980s and was loosely based on his own family members.
When she heard of his passing, Gaby posted a tribute online saying: “Unbelievably sad news to wake up to. Paul you really were a one off. There will never be anyone quite like Paul.
