Inside Jamie Lynn Spears’ wedding as sister Britney served as bridesmaid before fall out
Jamie Lynn Spears is one of the celebrities taking part in this year's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, alongside the likes of Josie Gibson, Marvin Humes and Sam Thompson.
The 32 year old, who is the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears, 42, has been made no secret of how tough she's finding the ITV show, having been open about missing her two daughters – Ivey, three, and Maddie, 14 – and her husband Jamie Watson, who is no doubt cheering on his wife back in the USA.
Jamie, 41, and Jamie Lynn married in March 2014 in a gorgeous ceremony in New Orleans, surrounded by their loved ones.
Stunning photos from the day show Jamie Lynn modelling a white lace gown complete with a plunging neckline. The blushing bride wore her blonde locks styled in an elegant up do and complete with look with dangly earrings.
Jamie Lynn's daughter Maddie wore a mini version of her bridal gown, with the pair both carrying pastel floral bouquets.
Pop sensation Britney was by her younger sister's side on her big day, and looked incredible in a fitted grey bridesmaid gown complete with heavy embellishment. The mum-of-two switched up her classic blonde locks for the nuptials and looked unrecognisable with dark red tresses.
Jamie Lynn and Britney's mum Lynne wore an embellished off-white dress, while their father Jamie matched the groom in a dark grey suit with a pastel pink tie.
Jamie Lynn met her husband Jamie after they were introduced by a mutual friend in 2010. It came following Jamie Lynn's split from partner Casey Aldridge, the father of her first child.
Jamie hails from Louisiana, US and is the owner of Advanced Media Partners, a communications service in the area. The couple got engaged in 2013 and went on to tie the knot the following year – in March this year, they celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary.
In April 2018, Jamie Lynn and Jamie welcomed a daughter, Ivey Joan Watson, together. Jamie is also a stepfather to Jamie Lynn's daughter, Maddie Briann Aldridge, who was born in June 2008. The TV star was 16 years old when she announced she was pregnant – at the time she was starring in Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 and left the show for parenthood.
Following the arrival of her second daughter Ivey in 2018, Jamie Lynn opened up about becoming a mum for the second time. She told PEOPLE: "As we all know, there was a lot of chaos around my last pregnancy.
"I would say that being a mom is being a mom: It doesn't matter if you're in your teens or not, there should be no excuse to not be a great mother. It doesn't matter what your age is."
