James Martin issues heartfelt update as he ‘takes break’ during cancer battle

TV chef James Martin has issued a heartfelt update to fans after previously announcing he’s “taking a break” in order to recover from his upcoming treatment for facial cancer.

The 51-year-old ITV presenter, who is currently on tour, told fans in a Liverpool show earlier this week that he would be taking some much-needed time out.

Today marks the final leg of James’ tour, which has seen the chef treat audiences to cooking demonstrations and performances from his band, Midnight Ramblers.

Addressing fans ahead of his final performance at the London Palladium tonight, he enthusiastically thanked them for their continued support.

Taking to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, he expressed his gratitude to his 731,500 followers.
