Robbie Williams has opened up about his feelings towards ex-bandmate Gary Barlow.
In his new self-titled Netflix documentary, Robbie, 49, opens up about the decade-long rivalry between the pair describing how he “wanted to make him pay”.
The four-part docuseries will take an in-depth look at the singer’s life and chart his rise to fame as well as his battles with depression and addiction.
During the show, Robbie is seen watching hours of archive video footage, and one scene shows his ten year old daughter Theodora Rose, otherwise known as Teddy, asking her dad: “Who did you hate the most [in the band] and why?”
An emotional Robbie then responded: “I disliked Gary the most because he was the one that was supposed to have everything and the career.”

The singer then went on to admit: “And I wanted to make him pay. I was vengeful. By having the career that he was supposed to have.”
Robbie famously fell out with his Take That bandmates when they asked him to leave the group after he ditched tour rehearsals to go partying at Glastonbury.
The friction between the group members ultimately resulted in Robbie leaving the band in 1995 just as Take That were about to embark on their Nobody Else world tour. Shortly after Robbie left, Take That announced they were splitting.

But whilst Robbie remained civil with Howard Donald, 55, Jason Orange, 53, and Mark Owen, 51, his feud with lead singer Gary Barlow only got worse, leading to a number of public exchanges.
During his documentary, Robbie seems to feel regret over the situation, telling his daughter: “I’m sorry that I treated Gary like that.”
Explaining why he possibly treated his bandmate the way he did, he admittedd: “It seemed like there was one person being managed in Take That and it was Gary Barlow.”
He went on to add: “It was all geared around him. As a young person I would’ve been jealous of that. I suppose a lot of me resented him.”
Robbie and Gary put their feud to bed when they got together to write and record the hit song Shame, which featured on Robbie’s 2010 album In and Out of Consciousness.
Robbie also made up with the rest of his bandmates and rejoined the group for their Progress album and tour.
Speaking at a pop-up event to promote his new Netflix series, Robbie was interviewed by Smooth Radio where he was asked if the members of Take That had seen his new documentary.
He replied: “I love my boys. They haven’t seen it. They haven’t had to for legal reasons, but they’ve had to see the script for the biopic, and that has since been changed.”
Robbie Williams premieres on Netflix November 8.
