Nadiya Bychkova addresses backlash to her not getting Strictly partner
Strictly’s Nadiya Bychkova celebrating her 34th birthday
Nadiya Bychkova has broken her silence again amid fan uproar after she was snubbed from this year’s Strictly Come Dancing line-up.
The Ukranian dancer was not given a celebrity partner this year, which has sparked significant uproar with fans. She was paired with Matt Goss last year and Dan Walker the year before.
The 34-year-old shared a series of photos on her Instagram profile addressing the backlash.
She wrote: “Life doesn’t always go the way we want it to but the people we come across can make a big difference to our perspective, our mindset and the way we face the next day.
“Your kindness, love and care has really lifted my spirit and my soul so ‘THANK YOU’ from the bottom of my heart.”

She also appeared to have put her woes aside and dazzled in a gorgeous mini dress during a London Fashion Week event at Somerset House.
Posing alongside Love Island star Tasha Ghouri, Nadiya put the Strictly snub behind her and looked radiant while attending the runway show.
Nadiya is currently in a relationship with fellow professional dancer Kai Widdrington, who has been paired up with broadcaster Angela Rippon.
Joining Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, she has previously been paired with former BBC presenter Dan Walker and Blue singer Lee Ryan.

Another dancer who was left out of this year’s series is Neil Jones.
Despite having joined Strictly seven years ago, the 41-year-old has only ever been partnered with a celebrity twice.
He competed in the main show for the first time in 2019 with England football star Alex Scott.
Both Neil and Nadiya will be part of the larger group dances during the series.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.35pm on BBC One.
