Strictlys Zara McDermott shares painful looking injury after rehearsals
Zara McDermott shares injury she suffered in Strictly rehearsals
Zara McDermott has shared a fresh injury she has picked up in Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals.
After a day of rehearsing her upcoming Quickstep with partner Graziano di Prima, the 26-year-old took to social media to show off her latest dance wound.
On Tuesday (26 September), Zara uploaded a video to her Instagram stories and told her 1.8 million followers that her toe had “come off”.
In the clip, the former Love Island contestant showed the underside of her foot to the camera and said: “Just for my close friends but I just have to let you know that half of my toes has come off.”
After a bout of exasperated laughing, Zara repeated in disbelief: “That’s my toe.”

Over the video, the actor wrote: “I put this on my close friends but tbh I think the world needs to see this. Half my toe has come off tbh.”(sic)
Zara’s injury update comes less than a week after she revealed her “feet were bleeding” while rehearsing the Cha Cha Cha with Graziano, 29.
Prior to completing her first live performance on the celebrated BBC ballroom show, which she received just 19 points for, the former Made In Chelsea star opened up about her foot pain.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “Graziano told me not to go for the heels but to dance in men’s shoes at the start.
“I told him, ‘It’s not working, I need to take them off,’ and he said, ‘No, no you’re fine’.”
Zara continued to say that when she took the shoes off her feet, they were bleeding.
“I was like, ‘I told you I am not being dramatic’,” she continued.

Before she and her partner took to the ballroom floor for last weekend’s live show, the Who Dares Wins star took to social media to praise Graziano for “empowering” her.
After uploading a press shot of the pair, she wrote in the caption: “To my partner. I just want to say THANK YOU for empowering me every moment of every day for these past few weeks.
“For pushing me and believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. I have felt so out of my comfort zone, scared, nervous, but you have kept me empowered and positive through all of those moments.
“You are truly incredible, and I hope I can make you proud tonight at the first live show!!! I’m (sic) beyond excited to dance with you, it’s become my favourite thing to do. Let’s do this together, team #GRAZIARA BABY!!!!!! Let’s CHA CHA CHA!!! #strictly #strictlycomedancing”
