genzai and HYSTERIC GLAMOUR Reconnect For Third Collaboration

Following two successful collaborations, Nobuhiko Kitamura‘s HYSTERIC GLAMOR and genzai have come together for another collection. Helmed by Art Director Tetsuya Nagato, genzai is a streetwear label that centers around the concept of the “present” and “escape” in the form of moving forward. The label has become known for its incorporation of cultural references and its expression of the youth in Japan.

Building on the first and second collaborations, the third team-up draws from the pre-2000 HYSTERIC GLAMOUR archives. Leading the range is a stadium jacket, track jacket, zip-up hoodie, and sweatpants marked with logos and motifs drawn from retro motor oil packaging. Elsewhere in the collaboration is a checkered shirt and baggy denim that pair the snake pattern motifs from both brands.
