Ivanka Trump Reveals That This Family Member Has Been Privately Living With Her for the 'Last Couple Years'
The Trump family have a lot on their plate amid Donald Trump‘s ongoing legal woes but one member of the family is keeping her focus elsewhere. Ivanka Trump, who has largely steered clear of her father’s legal issues and his 2024 re-election campaign, revealed that she’s been putting her time into another family member — her grandmother.
Ivanka, 41, took to Instagram on October 5 to wish a happy 97th birthday to her maternal grandmother and disclosed that the elderly woman has been living with her and her family.
“We’re so lucky to have Babi living with us in Miami these last couple years,” said the former president’s daughter who relocated from Washington D.C. to Florida with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children after her father’s failed attempt to secure a second term in office in 2020.

“I’m thankful for every lesson, every story, and every game night where she still destroys us all at Jenga,” Ivanka continued. “It’s the simple moments together that define the richness of life. I cherish every second!”
In the series of Instagram photos, Ivanka grins alongside her grandmother Marie Zelníčková, the mother of the former president’s first wife Ivana who died last year. Also in the photos are Kushner and their daughter Arabella Rose, 12, and sons Joseph Frederick, 9, and Theodore James, 6.

Ivanka announced in November last year that she wouldn’t be participating in her father’s political campaign.
“I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics,” she said in a statement at the time. “While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena. I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments.”
The businesswoman has not spoken out since her father’s latest federal indictment but did restate her support back in March when a Manhattan jury indicted her father for allegedly paying adult film star Stormy Daniels to stay silent about their alleged affair during his 2016 presidential campaign.
“I love my father, and I love my country. Today, I am pained for both,” Ivanka wrote at the time. “I appreciate the voices across the political spectrum expressing support and concern.”
