Porsche Unveils All-New Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid
Porsche has unveiled the third-generation Panamera, designed to act as a testament to its commitment to luxury, efficiency and digital innovation. The new Panamera blends sport and comfort with updated digital features, a refreshed design and an expanded range between dynamic performance and driving comfort.
Central to the new model are the more potent E-Hybrid powertrains. The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, for example, features impressive fuel efficiency and low emissions, alongside a notable electric range, highlighting Porsche’s dedication to eco-friendly innovation. This model generation emphasizes Porsche’s sporting heritage with enhanced drive systems, an updated operating concept and an array of new technologies.
A standout feature of the new Panamera is the Porsche Active Ride suspension system. This state-of-the-art technology promises unparalleled comfort coupled with the athletic driving characteristics synonymous with Porsche — especially in the E-Hybrid models, offering a fine balance between driving comfort and dynamics, thanks to its advanced two-valve technology and electrically operated hydraulic pumps.
The vehicle’s design has also undergone a fundamental transformation. The new Panamera’s technical yet elegant and dynamic design updates the model line’s proportions, enhancing its visual appeal. The interior has also been overhauled with a driver-centered approach, integrating a wide range of driver assistance systems to elevate the driving experience.
As for tech, the integration of a digital ecosystem into the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system offers new interactive possibilities. The Panamera now features dual-chamber two-valve air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard, enhancing the range between comfort and sportiness. Optional all-wheel steering further refines the car’s handling.
In response to the increasing demand for E-Hybrid systems, Porsche has introduced four efficient E-Hybrid powertrains in the new Panamera. The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, ready at market launch, combines a newly developed electric motor with a revised V8 turbo engine, producing an impressive system output and torque — capable of accelerating to 60 mph in just over three seconds.
Additional details at the interior feature a balance of digital and analog controls, with an optional passenger display that further integrates the passenger into the driving experience. Finally, Porsche equips the new Panamera with advanced Matrix LED headlights and a comprehensive suite of assistance systems for enhanced safety and convenience.
Deliveries for the all-new Panamera, in Europe, are set to begin in March 2024, with a price that starts at €107,800 EUR or $118,035 USD.
