Richardson Reinvents the Classics for FW23 Drop 4
After releasing a line of Western-inspired workwear earlier this month, American fashion label Richardson has returned with the fourth drop in its Fall/Winter 2023 rollout. The collection, which the brand first revealed in August, is filled with contemporary utilitarian silhouettes, and this latest installment hones in on the brand’s classics.
For Drop 4, Richardson is reinventing some of the most popular pieces in its archives. Among them, the Richardson x Hotel Olympia Leather Varsity Jacket revitalizes the imprint’s age-old collegiate outerwear with felt decals designed by Olympia Le Tan, and the Cropped Down Biggie, which comes in “Slate Grey” and “Black” colorways, provides a cut-off take on Richardson’s signature goose and down insulated jacket.
The brand’s Bondage Work Pants have a revival with brass hardware, and the Bleached Work Pants build upon Richardson’s Duck Canvas Pants with an attention-grabbing bleach finish. Meanwhile, the Old English Richardson iconography finds new life on an intarsia sweater, and the Glyph Mohair Knitted Sweater features oversized logo work.
Rounding out the range, sweatsuit sets and T-shirts host a bevy of reinvented Richardson motifs. The standouts include the Little Dume T-shirt, which brings back the “Nuke Little Dume” graphic, and the Anonymous T-shirt, which dons not-safe-for-work imagery from an unnamed photographer.
Richardson’s Fall/Winter 2023 Drop 4 will launch on Thursday, October 26, at 9 a.m. ET via the brand’s webstore and in its New York and Los Angeles storefronts. Take a closer look at the range in the gallery above.
