The final season of Sex Education is nearly here and thing are heating up as the stars posed for some cheeky new pictures.

Fans have already been treated to the hilarious trailer, although knowing this could be the last time we see the Moordale gang has left viewers with mixed feelings.

The new posters have set the tone for season four and it looks like it’s going to be a spicy one.

Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Gillian Anderson, Emma Mackey and Aimee-Lou Wood all have character posters with a cheeky theme.

In true Sex Education style, each cast member is pulling a face and look like they are climaxing.

The much-loved show is never shy about pushing the boundaries of sexual representation, so the orgasm face posters couldn’t be more perfect.

The show follows Otis and his friends as they navigate love, life, and the perils of being a teenager.

Otis’s mum is a sex therapist, portrayed by Gillian Anderson, and he ends up becoming his peers’ go-to love guru.

Sex Education has been praised for it’s open and honest take on sex and relationships, including LGBTQ+ stories.

Many of the stars are not returning for the final season, such as Tanya Reynolds who played fantasy sci-fi enthusiast Lily.

She told Metro that she ‘loved that little weirdo!’ and saw herself as a child a lot in her character.

The new pictures have reignited fan theories that core couple Maeve (Emma) and Otis (Asa) might not be the ‘endgame’.

Fans speculated that Maeve appears to not be enjoying herself, compared to everyone else who is showing off their o-face.

Since Otis and Ruby (Mimi Keene) both look satisfied, some viewers have suggested that the exes get back together while Maeve is in the US.

The question of who will Otis end up with has been hanging over the last few seasons, with many loving the ‘Rotis’ endgame.

The fate of Ncuti’s Eric and Connor Swindell’s Adam is also a massive question for fans as the last season saw them end their relationship.

Creator Laurie Nunn has been clear that the upcoming series will be ‘the end’ of the story for the beloved cast.

‘It’s the end as we know it,’ she told Netflix Tudum, much to the disappointment of viewers, who are hoping the show might continue in another way.

She added: ‘During that process, it just started to feel very clear that the stories were coming to an end, the characters were being left in a place that I felt really good about it.’

Sex Education returns to Netflix for its final season on September 21.
