TV star was hospitalized in a ‘catatonic state’ while filming ‘terror’ show

Sharon Osbourne was hospitalized with a mysterious illness back in December 2022, but video of the lead up to the medical emergency has now been released, and it’s quite spooky (see it here). Sharon, it turns out, was filming for the Travel Channel series “Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror” at the time. Video shows her blindfolded, wearing headphones and allegedly speaking to a spirit at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, Calif. In the footage everything appeared fine… until it wasn’t.

“Were you here during prohibition?” Those were the last worlds Sharon Osbourne said before she went silent and slumped in a chair.
Footage from “Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror” showed the reality TV star’s head tilting back and her body going limp. After a few moments, someone from the production crew asked Sharon if she’s ok. When she didn’t answer, the crew members said she’s in “some kind of catatonic state.” Jack was then alerted to his mom’s state.

With Sharon Osbourne uncommunicative, Jack Osbourne walked into the room to make sure she was “in one piece.” After imploring her to wake up, which she doesn’t, Jack tells the crew to turn on the lights. “Lights on, now!” he demanded.

At the time, TMZ reported that Sharon Osbourne was hospitalized with a “medical emergency.” Little else was known. Not long after, she addressed her fans on social media, saying she was “back home and doing great.”
The hotel, Glen Tavern Inn, was once featured on an episode of the Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventurers,” as it’s known for having paranormal activity.

Sharon Osbourne spoke briefly about her “illness” earlier this year.
“It was the weirdest thing,” she said on UK’s version of “The Talk.” “I was doing some filming and suddenly they told me that I [passed out] for 20 minutes. And I was in hospital, I went to one hospital, they took me to another hospital, and I did every test over two days, and nobody knows why.”
