Ulysse Nardin Reveals Its New Freak [ONE OPS] Time-Teller

On the occasion of Dubai Watch Week, Ulysse Nardin has unveiled its latest iteration of the Freak model: the Freak [ONE OPS].

First introduced in 2001, the Freak shook the watchmaking world with its uniquely innovative vision. More than two decades later, the Freak is still continuously explored and improved to live up to its forward-thinking reputation. The Freak [ONE OPS] is presented as a twist on Ulysse Nardin’s iconic Freak One reference that’s known for its highly identifiable appearance with no dial, hands, or crown.

Arriving in a 44m case size, the new timepiece comes encased in black DLC titanium and is paired with a Carbonium® bezel. The entire piece features a black and khaki green color palette, where its dial is punctuated with touches of light yellow and blue.

Equipped with a 90-hour power reserve, the watch is operated by the UN-240 automatic movement. Geared with the Grinder® automatic winding system, blades technology, Silicon oversized oscillator, and balance spring, as well as a Flying carousel movement that rotated on its own axis, the caliber also boasts a frequency of 21,600 vph.

The Freak [ONE OPS] is accompanied by two integrated watch straps: a two-tone rubber one, and a complementing ballistic rubber strap featuring the woven look. Priced at $66,500 USD, the watch is currently available for inquiry on the watchmaker’s official website.
