Squid Game The Challenge fans claim show is rigged after they spot contestants ‘cheating’ during Red Light Green Light | The Sun

SQUID Games The Challenge fans are convinced the show is rigged after watching the first game.

In the opening episode, the 456 contestants took on the seemingly innocent kids game Red Light Green Light – while a 14-foot doll looked over them.

For the challenge those who don't pass over a finish line before the timer runs out or don't stop, motionless, when the sinister doll says "Red light" are eliminated, via sniper rifles in the show and with squid packs in the real-life game.

Those watching the Netflix show at home have questioned if both a mother and son duo should have made it to the next round.

One person wrote: “This game is already rigged because mom should have been OUT!! She was moving!!!.”

A second said: “Obsessed with the old woman and her son because she was so obviously moving more than anyone in the very first challenge and it’s so clear they rigged it to get them both far.”

While a third added: “They really set this whole thing up for Nanna and her son to have to battle it out against one another over a game of marbles. I 100% saw her move during Red Light Green Light but they let it slide for the drama that was to come! .”

Netflix invited 456 hopefuls — the same as in Squid Games — to compete for a record £3.7million prize.

The opening game was filmed in the UK in January this year in a huge ex-RAF base on the outskirts of Bedford which has previously hosted Batman and Star Wars Films.

Producers were filming the game — Red Light, Green Light — when contestants started to feel unwell in cold temperatures.

Others said the squid packs went off even if they didn’t move and that clothing didn’t fit properly exposing them to the cold.
