L’Oréal’s Bond Repair haircare is a great dupe for Olaplex say shoppers – and it’s currently half price

If you bleach, colour or style your hair with heated tools, you’ll probably know about bond-repairing products.

L’Oréal Paris Elvive Bond Repair range is one of the latest to hit the market, claiming to leave hair feeling stronger, looking shinier and with fewer split ends. Since launching it has received rave reviews from shoppers – and you can currently get your hands on it for half price.

LookFantastic is selling the three-piece L’Oréal Paris Elvive Bond Repair 3 Step Routine Bundle For Damaged Hair for just £20.99, down from its usual RRP of £41.97. The bundle contains a shampoo, conditioner and pre-wash treatment designed to be left on damp hair for five minutes before rinsing off and washing as normal. Everything in the range contains a citric acid complex (varying in strength between products) that rebuilds broken bonds deep within the hair strand.

Looking at the line-up, it’s not hard to make comparisons to the original bond-builder, Olaplex – particularly L’Oréal’s pre-shampoo treatment, which is remarkably similar to Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector (currently also on sale for £21.56).

Olaplex’s three-step Hero Bundle costs £84, so you’ll be saving more than 75% by snapping up the L’Oréal offer.

And we’re not the only ones who have spotted the similarity, as plenty of shoppers have pointed out the likeness online.
