M&S shoppers love this £65 autumn coat that goes with everything and looks expensive

Trying to find the perfect autumn coat can be nearly impossible. You don't want it too thick in this mild autumn weather, but you also need it to keep you warm enough when it does get colder. Ideally, it also needs to offer some sort of protection from the rain.

Luckily, M&S shoppers think they've found the perfect autumn coat in the M&S Cotton Rich Stormwear Car Coat,£65 here. The coat comes in a navy and a beige colourway and it has been designed with water-repellent technology to ensure you stay dry in the often wet and unpredictable British weather.

It can be difficult to find a raincoat that looks smart enough to wear to work and more formal events, but this one from M&S manages to look high-end and stylish while also protecting you from a potential downpour.

Shoppers have been snapping it up and leaving generous 5-star reviews. "Fantastic value for high quality. Very nice shape to the coat and a heavyweight cotton" said one shopper, whilst a second wrote: "A very stylish coat, great quality and amazing value for money".

Another rave review stated: "Stylish raincoat that looks far more expensive than it was. Excellent quality. Oversized – great if you like the current trend but I sized down to an 8 (I’m usually a 10/12)."

Many of the reviews said the coat came in slightly too oversized so they opted for sizing down, which fitted them perfectly.

Not only is the coat water-repellent but it features practical side and internal pockets to keep all your items safe and protected.

At £65, this car coat is super stylish and affordable. It fits into the 'quiet luxury' aesthetic that has been blowing up online over the past few months and is a great way to elevate your looks. We'll definitely be getting our hands on one!
