M&S shoppers love this £7 own-brand ‘smudge-proof’ mascara – and it’s on sale
Marks and Spencer’s shoppers have been singing the praises of the high street retailers own-brand mascara, calling it ‘great value’ and ‘easy to apply’.
The Length Infinity Mascara, £7 here (was £10), is part of M&S’ own Autograph beauty range which includes makeup and skincare, and helps create longer, thicker looking lashes in seconds.
The mascara has racked up more than 150 reviews on the M&S website, with an average of 4.7 out of 5 stars – pretty impressive considering how affordable it is.
Although initially priced at £10 – an already very reasonable amount – the mascara has since gone into the retailers 30% off Autograph makeup sale, and will now set you back just £7.
Despite it’s ultra-affordable price point, shoppers can’t quite believe how good the Length Infinity Mascara, £7 here (was £10), makes their eyelashes look.
“I’m so happy with my mascara that is excellent quality, glides on giving you an unbelievable finish that stands out, enhancing your eyes giving you a perfect look,” said one review, whilst another agreed: “Lovely mascara made my lashes look really long, easy to apply.”
A third wrote: “Love the way this brush separates the lashes and doesn't smudge which is a bonus.”
With another adding: “Always buy this mascara I find it as good as the more branded one I also buy. Need to wash the brush as it gets a bit clogged but great value for money.”
Part of what makes the mascara so popular is its lightweight formula which applies smoothly without clumping or sticking your lashes together or weighing them down.
The formula has also been designed to be smudge-proof and long-lasting, so you don’t need to worry about checking your makeup in the mirror only to discover the treaded panda eyes effect that can come with some mascaras.
If you’re particularly worried about your mascara running, shoppers also love the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Waterproof Mascara, £9.59 here (was £11.99), saying it's “Perfect for everyday use,” although some reviews did mention they struggled with the brush, saying: “Wasn’t sure about this at first as I thought that the wand was quite flimsy, however once I got the knack of applying it, it is a very good mascara, it lasts all day with one coat.”
The brush can make or break a mascara, and the Length Infinity Mascara, £7 here (was £10), has a flexible brush that helps make your application even more precise, separating your lashes and evenly coating them for longer-looking, fanned out lashes.
The mascara is available in both black and brown/black, with the latter coating your lashes in a deep, chocolate brown colour that works beautifully with bronzed smokey eye looks.
Treat yourself – and your lashes – to the M&S Length Infinity Mascara, £7 here (was £10), whilst stocks last in the Autograph makeup sale.
