Snger Boy George has admitted he’s secretly had three transplants to fix his barnet.

The Culture Club hitmaker also revealed he’s had a "tummy tuck" and tried fad diets to lose weight. George, 62, said: "It's time to confess I had three hair transplants around 2015–2018 – two in Ireland and a final one in LA – and the weird thing is no-one remembers I was bald as a shaved badger.

"I had a tummy tuck not long after, which was the most painful thing I’ve ever done because I went on tour straight after with the blood bag attached. I'd previously lost seven stone doing the metabolic balance diet and I needed to get rid of the excess skin.

It comes after the former I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me Out of Here! contestant said he still feels the “presence” of his late mum – and they have chats together. The Karma Chameleon singer was devastated when his mother Dinah O’Dowd died last March aged 84.George said at the time: "Though I’d love a permanent cloud in the sky, I talk to her picture in the hallway every day. I can say what I like and she never answers back.

Nothing rude. I just sit on the stairs and gabble away about what’s going on. I say, 'I love you', when I come in and when I go out. I feel Mum’s presence strongly. I hear her telling me to get on with my life and have a fantastic time." George recalls in his new book Karma how he also got a sign from his mother that she was nearing the end so that he could be by her side. He said: “Being with mum when she passed was a beautiful and painful gift.

"My calmness was unnerving. I wanted to fall apart and scream down the hospital walls but I knew Mum deserved more than me making it about me." George appeared on I'm A Celebrity last year, starring alongside the likes of politician Matt Hancock and football star Jill Scott. But in his new book, Karma, he appeared to let loose on some camp secrets that viewers didn't see.
