Chloe Madeley breaks silence on James Haskell split with heartbreaking response

Chloe Madeley has broken her silence after the breakdown of her relationship – and insisted her and James Haskell will co-parent their daughter.

The ITVBe reality star and personal trainer announced that she and former Rugby star James called time on their relationship after much speculation. James, 38, raised eyebrows after he was spotted cosying up to a mystery blonde woman on a late night out at the Chiltern Firehouse hotspot.

Tension brewed on their reality show, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair as the pair were engulfed in ferocious rows, which only fuelled split rumours. Last month, they released a joint statement which read: "James and I mutually decided to separate at the end of September 2023. Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time."

They also said how there were no initial plans to release a statement as their show aired on the commercial network, however they said their hand was forced due to the constant speculation. But Chloe – the daughter of legendary This Morning pairing Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan – has addressed the split once more.

In a Q&A session on social media, a fan asked the star whether there was any chance the pair might get together after the end of their five year marriage. The Instagram user wrote: "Is there a chance you and James will get back together… it's so sad."

Chloe replied: "James and I are not together anymore but we are determined to be the absolute best parents we can be to our amazing little girl." She posted picture of the former I'm A Celebrity star with their one-year-old daughter Bodhi on top of his shoulders.

This news may not come as a surprise to fans of the fitness enthusiast, as she was previously spotted on several nights out where she went without her wedding ring. The pair were also increasingly spending more time apart as James took up DJing and would travel for work purposes.

A sorce previously told OK! Magazine: "James' lifestyle played a big part – he was always away, DJing in Ibiza and then the story emerged on him pictured with a blonde – it was just one thing after another. He'd be away partying and didn't call home much to check in on her."

This comes after it was revealed that her parents, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, were reportedly "deeply upset" following the split. A source told New! magazine that Chloe's parents were saddened by the news, as they had hoped for a strong marriage for their daughter.

They said: "They've had a very strong marriage and wanted the same for Chloe. They adore James but they want to see their daughter happy and they could see the cracks appearing for a long time." The source also revealed that there is no chance of reconciliation for Chloe and James. "Chloe has had enough," they added.
