Katie Price teases huge TV gig as Celebrity Big Brother return is confirmed

Katie Price has seemingly hinted that she's set to go into the famous Celebrity Big Brother house in 2024.

The 45-year-old, who previously appeared on the celeb edition in 2015, went on to win the show beating the likes of former LBC presenter, Katie Hopkins. But after sharing the teaser for the new series on her Instagram stories with an eyeball caption, it appears she could be giving the show another shot.

The short clip featured the well-known Big Brother theme tune and an animation, before announcing: "Celebrity Big Brother 2024." The caption and voiceover says: "Celebrities… Big Brother is coming to get you."

Since the announcement of the new Celebrity series on ITV, a number of famous faces have been rumoured to be taking part. This includes former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield and ex-PM Boris Johnson's alleged mistress Jennifer Arcuri.

In 2016, former glamour model Katie said she consider appearing on the programme again once her her health had improved. During her first stint on the show, which was broadcast on Channel 5 at the time, she was in agony following a botched boob job.

At the time, she told fans: "It's only rumours by I would do big brother again now I'm heathy [sic]."

New Big Brother host ITV confirmed this week that Celebrity Big Brother would return after six years and will feature a cast of celebs living in the Big Brother house. Just like the non-celeb version which is currently on ITV2, the well-known faces will participate in weekly nominations and challenges, all under the watchful eye of the cameras and viewers at home.

Speaking about the highly anticipated return, Paul Mortimer, director of reality commissioning and acquisitions and controller, ITV2 and ITVBe, expressed his excitement about the show's return. He said: "The reception from our viewers to Big Brother's return has been fantastic. We're therefore thrilled to announce that we'll be bringing our very own celebrity edition to ITV1 and ITVX next year.

Paul also confirmed that casting for the new series has already in the works. He added: "Casting is underway to find a new batch of famous faces who are sure to provide more iconic and unmissable BB moments."
