Strictlys Bobby Brazier’s new job exposed after sudden exit from EastEnders

Bobby Brazier’s new job has been “worked out” by his loyal legion of fans, following his shock exit from EastEnders.

The actor, 20, is currently taking part in the 21st series of Strictly Come Dancing. Partnered up with Dianne Buswell, the pair have been setting the floor on fire in recent weeks thanks to their show-stopping performances.

Away from the dance floor, Bobby made his acting debut in 2022, playing the role of Freddie Slater. His stint on the BBC show has gone down well with viewers, and he even bagged an NTA recently for his role.

However, as fans will remember, Freddie exited the soap last week. The character was arrested, and eventually released on bail, for attempted murder.

And following Bobby’s Strictly performance on Saturday night (October 7), they reckon they have clocked what Bobby could be doing next in his career. And it’s a far cry from his role in Albert Square.

During the show, Bobby and Dianne performed a samba to Young Hearts Run Free. The duo channeled Romeo + Juliet for their Movie Week performance.

Their routine impressed the judges and the nation. But it seems viewers of the programme couldn’t help but notice how similar Bobby looks to a young Mick Jagger.

Floored at the uncanny resemblance, fans rushed over to X to claim how Bobby could play the young Rolling Stones frontman in a biopic about the group. One said: “Bobby's dance was fun but it's ridiculous how much he looked like a mini Mick Jagger.”

Echoing their thoughts, a second penned: “Bobby's dance was fun but it's ridiculous how much he looked like a mini Mick Jagger.” A third added: “Strong Mick Jagger vibes from Bobby.”

Another fan gushed: “When the next Rolling Stones movie is being auditioned, Bobby is my choice for Mick Jagger, he definitely has the moves.” Someone else proclaimed: “Bobby Brazier doesn't get to play a young Mick Jagger at some point, something is wrong with the world.”

Freddie Slater said goodbye to Albert Square during last week’s episode of EastEnders. As fans will remember, Freddie was arrested, and later released on bail, for attempted murder.

Following an argument with his rapist dad Graham Foster (Alex McSweeney), Freddie walked in on stalker Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) attempting to rape Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

Seeing red, Freddie beat Theo with an iron in defence of Stacey, leaving the bad guy unconscious and in a pool of his own blood. With the help of Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) the trio then came up with a plan that involved making Freddie’s attack look more like self-defence by planting a weapon on Theo’s body.

After calling the ambulance, the cops swiftly arrived. However, despite the attempts to make him look innocent Freddie was arrested for attempted murder. Fortunately for him, he was released on bail during Thursday’s episode (October 5).

Once he returned home, his nan Jean (Gillian Wright) suggested he should go and spend time with his mum Little Mo (Kacey Ainsworth) for a while. Although hesitant at first, Freddie agreed. In emotional scenes at the end of the episode, he hugged his family and friends before jumping into a taxi to go see his mum.
