Strictlys Claudia Winklemans non-negotiable need after alarming discovery
Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman has opened up on the one thing in her marriage that is completely "non-negotiable".
Winkleman, 51, has been loved up with husband Kris Thykier for the past 23 years, having tied the knot in 2000. The pair have three children together and seem to be going stronger than ever.
But in a recent interview with Hello! magazine, the Traitors host admitted there is one thing about her that she needs to have in order to make her marriage work. She also insisted that that hubby Kris has to accept her secret love, otherwise there would be trouble ahead for the pair.

In the interview, the BBC host exclaimed: "Love me, love my fake tan. We come as one."
Winkleman did recognise that sleeping whilst fake tan is still drying "can look quite alarming" on your bedsheets. However, she insisted that film producer Kris has been forced to accept.
As a form of compromise to Thykier, BBC Radio 2 presenter Claudia has discovered creams that could help her tan deepen whilst she is in bed, reducing the amount of application. Beaming about her newfound discovery, she recalled: "You just spray [it] on and it doesn't stain, and then you wake up looking like you've been in Italy for two weeks!"
But this is not the only thing Claudia refuses to give up for the sake of her marriage. Winkleman added that she would never think of scrapping her trademark over-the-eyes fringe.
Joking in the interview, she wondered: "I don't even know what's under there – squirrels? Bowls of cereal? I've got absolutely no idea [but] I can't be without the fringe."
Claudia admitted that her iconic hairstyle was likely the reason why she has gotten work, as it made her more recognisable. She added that she would need to keep the fringe otherwise she would "lose [her] job".
However, BBC bosses have previously warned Claudia not to let her luscious locks get out of hand. In a separate interview, she revealed that execs at the broadcaster had advised her hairdresser to maintain a certain look after she bagged her current role hosting the iconic dancing competition.
Retelling the story at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August, she remember how after she had landed the role, she was grateful to bosses for giving her the "honour" of filling in for Sir Bruce Forsyth. However, things took a turn when the producers required a phone number for her hairdresser, which Claudia described as "a bit weird".
"Two days later, James, who does my hair, said, ‘This guy phoned up to complain about the length of your fringe,'" she explained. He was like: ‘You can have this job but [the fringe is] just annoying, it’s down to your nose. You want to be on telly but you’re invisible!"
Claudia has previously opened up on the insecurity she feels without having a fringe. She had confessed she was not a fan of the size of her forehead, and joked that her iconic fringe will her save money on Botox for years to come.
Strictly Come Dancing airs every Saturday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
