BBC Breakfast star Charlie Stayt was missing from the red sofa once again on Friday (September 15) after fans predicted there was tension behind the scenes.
The 61-year-old usually presents the morning programme with Naga Munchetty from Thursday to Saturday every week.
But on both Thursday (September 14) and Friday, it was Ben Thompson who teamed up with Naga, 48, to share the latest news updates with viewers across the country.

Also missing was meteorologist Carol Kirkwood, who has been absent from the show all week.
It was Sarah Keith-Lucas who stepped in for the Scottish star on Friday, while Matt Taylor took up the position of weather presenter on Thursday.
Charlie's absence from Thursday's show was topic of debate amongst BBC viewers who headed to social media to question whether there had been some sort of fall out behind the scenes.
Sharing their thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter, on person wrote: "Intriguing?! After looking visibly refreshed last weekend, today BBC Breakfast sees the return of the tension and turbulence of Naga Munchetty, and now Charlie Stayt is MIA?! It seems there is trouble in paradise!"
A second viewer echoed: "Have Charlie and Naga fallen out? They never seem to appear together these days.."
On many occasions, the BBC Breakfast presenters take extended breaks and don't share the reason why they are missing from the red sofa.
However, after Naga was absent for a series of shows last week, the TV star revealed it was because she was enjoying a well-deserved holiday in Scotland.
