BBC Strictly Come Dancings Ellie Leach admits to kicking Vito Coppola
Vito Coppola kisses Ellie Leach on Strictly Come Dancing
Coronation Street star Ellie Leach appeared on the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two on Wednesday evening alongside Vito Coppola.
During Halloween Week, the duo scored an impressive 38 points with their Salsa to Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s pop classic Murder on the Dancefloor.
Ahead of their next performance this Saturday, Ellie had to address an issue with training for the BBC competition.
She will be performing the American Smooth to Ain’t That A Kick In The Head by Robbie Williams on Saturday night.
It Takes Two host Janette Manrara shared: “This is [quite the] song, but, you’ve given Vito toe injuries, and you’ve given him tooth injuries.

“Last week he almost lost an ear basically. So in the song, Kick In The Head, are we going to be careful with that?”
Ellie smiled and admitted: “Yeah, I am definitely going to be careful…”
However, Vito interjected to remind Ellie she “literally kicked my knee” in training that morning.
He told her as he pointed at his body: “I didn’t say yet you should kick my face, you should just kick here.”

Ellie tried to rectify the situation by telling BBC viewers she “at least” kicked Vito with her toe so she was pointing her foot like a dancer.
They then discussed the style of American Smooth they would be taking on this weekend.
Vito said he will be incorporating a range of lifts in their performance from a “swan lift” to a “helicopter lift”.
Soap actress Ellie interjected and quipped: “He makes up whatever he wants, really.”
The celebrity sent packing last weekend was Love Island star Zara McDermott and her partner Graziano Di Prima.
They were in the dreaded dance-off alongside Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas, but the judges chose to save him in the end.
Will Ellie and Vito be able to dazzle the judging panel once again this Saturday and top the leaderboard?
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7.05pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
