BBC Strictlys Dianne Buswell meets Amy Dowdens dad and makes sweetest comparison
Strictly Come Dancing professionals Dianne Buswell and Amy Dowden have proved that their friendship is a strong as ever, with Amy and her parents supporting her pal during Saturday's Strictly semi-final.
Sharing a sweet photo to Instagram, Dianne revealed that Amy and her parents, Gillian and Richard, had been sat in the audience on Saturday night, while Dianne took to the dancefloor with her celeb partner Bobby Brazier.
Captioning the snap, she wrote: "it was so lovely or should i say Lush to have amy’s mum and dad in the audience for the semi finals! amy’s dad reminds me so much of my own [heart emoji] [prayer hands emoji]
"And amy’s mum is just the sweetest [heart emoji] i loves them i do [smiling emoji] [black flag emoji] @amy_dowden @dowdengillian @richard_dowden."
Amy was quick to comment on the post, writing: "we are all so proud of you @diannebuswell and loves you we do!" which she followed with a string of heart emojis.
Fans also commented on the sweet snap, with one writing: "Lovely being there Diane. You and Bobby were amazing. Good luck for Saturday. Can’t wait to see what you have planned. Sending lots of love."

Amy's appearance in the Strictly audience comes after she had to miss this year's competition due to onging treatment for cancer.
The professional dancer has bravely been battling stage three breast cancer over the past year, which means se ws unable to join this year's cast of Strictly pros.
Dianne recently shared that her dad has also been undergoing chemotherapy after fans were concerned about her after she broke down in tears on Strictly in October.
She later shared that she had become emotional after her father Mark was diagnosed with cancer.
Dianne has since spoken out about how EastEnders actor Bobby has been a huge support to her during this difficult time.
She told Heat Magazine: "I am such a hard-working, crazy dancer that it's been a really nice balance, where Bobby has brought a lot of calmness into my life.
"There has been quite a lot going on in my personal life over these past few months, and Bobby has been really realistic and supportive, telling me everything's going to be OK. It's crazy that such a young guy can have such a good mind on him."
