Beckham viewers spot blunder during David and Victorias first meeting
‘BECKHAM’ documentary series: official trailer
Netflix viewers spotted an awkward blunder during the new Beckham documentary when the footballing legend explained the early stages of his relationship with Victoria Beckham.
In the four-part series, David explained he would drive four hours to spend 20 minutes with Victoria in their early days, just so they could spend time together.
Sweetly nicknamed Posh and Becks, the couple went on to be one of the most famous in the world as many fans watched them fall head over heels for one another.
Victoria would often be pitch-side supporting David but this is where eagle-eyed viewers spotted the awkward blunder.
During the scenes, Victoria proudly watched on as David scored an important goal at Old Trafford, the iconic home of Manchester United.

However, when the ball was shown going into the back of the net, it was clear the goal actually came from a game at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge – some 200 miles away.
David was seen warming up and in present time explained to viewers about the game and the moment he found out his wife-to-be was in attendance.
Victoria was heard from the background and joked: “The fact I went to the games… some would say stalk him, I would say support him. I just fancied him.”
Making the blunder slightly worse was the fact that the goal which was shown in the match happened some weeks later.

The moment didn’t go unnoticed with plenty of football fans taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to ask how no one spotted that the footage wasn’t from United’s easy-to-recognise stadium.
One wrote: “The Beckham mini-series has a bit talking about Victoria watching David at Old Trafford before showing a goal he quite clearly scores at Stamford Bridge and I for one am livid. Heads must roll for this catastrophic continuity error!”
Another added: “Old Trafford, that’s Chelsea is Becks a time traveller?”
A third noted: “Victoria says she watches David play at Old Trafford, he clearly scores a goal at Stamford Bridge.
“I mean, what are we to believe, that golden balls has a magic teleportation device. Ha ha, boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.” (sic)
Beckham is available to watch on Netflix.
