Big Brother fans convinced show is ‘rigged’ as Olivia saves herself from axe
Big Brother viewers are convinced that show bosses came up with the secret task twist just to keep Olivia on the show.
The blonde dancer found herself facing the chop after the first night on the reality TV show, which has been resurrected after five years much to the delight of fans. She was nominated to face the public vote after her housemate Jenkin predicted that she would be the hardest person to live with.
But Olivia was then told that she had the chance to save herself by taking part in an under the radar task. The housemates had to rank themselves in terms of how entertaining they were, and all the 23-year-old had to do was place higher than last.

Olivia was told that if she could avoid being ranked least Entertaining – all while keeping her mission a secret – she would be immune from eviction at the end of this week.
While Big Brother is no stranger to clandestine challenges, some viewers thought this one was all about keeping Olivia in the house. Speculation on social media was that BB head honchos suspected that she would make good viewing and wanted her stint to go on a bit longer.
“Olivia avoided nomination, this is so rigged,” one person sniped on X, which used to be Twitter. “I just knew Olivia would get immunity,” agreed another viewer.
Another person asked: “Why is Olivia getting preferential treatment?” They went on: “She got a chance to save herself from eviction but where was Dylan’s chance to get a bed? Or Jenkins chance to get his clothes or hot water back?”
“Hmmm, what BB just said to Olivia is giving ‘favouritism’,” said another fan of the reality show. “If she was not a fiery character, would BB give her that immunity!!! The slyness starts.”
“Clearly they don’t want her out first,” said someone else. Another agreed: "That's not fair."
However, one viewer pointed out: "While I still think it's unfair that Olivia gets to duck being nominated, she's too much of a character to kick out. The task should have been she had to be voted the MOST entertaining."
Big Brother continues nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
