EASTENDERS fans have been left sure that Stacey Slater has a defiant link to the Christmas Day victim as a new trailer for the soap is released.
As part of the ongoing The Six plot, the BBC soap dropped a new trailer featuring entirely Stacey in the aftermath of the Christmas Day body discovery.
After a dramatic episode where Stacey discovered the true identity of Theo Hawthorne, the mysterious trailer was released – sparking theory that the events could be connected.
The trailer shows Stacey carefully putting her red lipstick on as she looks into the mirror ahead of her.
In the mirror, the phrase "in a flash" can be seen.
Aptly, the scene changes 'in a flash' as Stacey is then seen distressed as she recoils in horror at something she has just seen.

The mirror is seen once again as it reads "everything changes", with a huge crack down it.
Is the timing of Stacey's trailer key to show that it is her who is connected to the body on the floor.
Writing online after the trailer dropped, one fan wrote: "This is EXCITING #Stacey #TheSix means that Theo could be the one killed at Christmas."
Another penned that the death could come even earlier than Christmas as they asked: "I'm wondering if she kills Theo this week."

Speaking at the time when The Six was first aired in February, Stacey actress Lacey Turner said: "When we first had the meeting about the storyline, I immediately thought it was someone who wasn’t in Albert Square yet."
This could make sense as Theo made his debut in Walford much later on.
Individual trailers are expected to drop for all six women featured throughout the year.
So far, Denise is the only other character to have her own trailer dropped.
That means there is still more to come from Suki, Linda, Kathy and Sharon.
It will allow fans even more room to speculate over who could be the body on the floor and just which, if any, of The Six are responsible.
