EastEnders fans spot clue proving who will die at Christmas as iconic star is name-dropped on square | The Sun
EASTENDERS fans are convinced they've spotted another clue as to who dies at Christmas.
The BBC soap teased a mysterious death in a flashforward scene back in February, and fans have been trying to work out who the victim is ever since.
Now many have become convinced it will be Deano/Dean Wicks – played by Matt Di Angelo – despite the fact he left Walford in 2016.
A recent blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene saw Dean's name mentioned by Stacey Slater's stalker Theo Hawthorne as he confessed all.
Theo brought up three of Stacey's former flames, including Max Branning, Kheerat Panesar and Dean, who Stacey slept with and then dated following his return in 2014.
However, Dean went on to rape Linda Carter, with Stacey learning the truth and encouraging Linda to tell husband Mick.

Dean left Albert Square in 2016 but he was mentioned earlier this year when his mum Shirley Carter told Linda she was staying with her son following Mick's disappearance.
EastEnders fans now wonder if Shirley will return with Dean in tow, and if he will be the man found dead in the Queen Vic at Christmas, especially as he has a connection to Stacey and Linda.
The women are two of the six soap matriarchs involved in the storyline, with the others being Denise Fox, Suki Panesar, Sharon Watts and Kathy Beale.
Taking to social media, one fan theorised: "Theo and Dean are definitely the top of my list for Christmas. They are both creepy, delusional, and narcissistic.

"I'm leaning more, Dean, as it was mentioned Shirley is staying with him, plus he has links to Linda, Stacy, and Denise. Theo is too obvious. #EastEnders #thesix."
Another added: "Dean will be back next teaming up with Theo #EastEnders".
A third wrote: "So are we now thinking Dean is the body at Christmas #TheSix #EastEnders".
Meanwhile a fourth shared: "Theory: theo rocks back up on the square as he is moving there and we find out he is in contact with Dean. Stacey was dating Dean when he raped Linda and Theo mentioning him this week has really put a light on Dean coming back."
