EastEnders Theo stars life – tragic baby loss, wifes vow and Netflix role
EastEnders star William Ellis made his debut as Theo Hawthorne in April 2023, introduced as the former teacher of Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier).
After helping Freddie with his ADHD diagnosis, seemingly kind-hearted teacher Theo showed his true colours when he was revealed to be Stacey Slater's (Lacey Turner) secret cam client.
After weeks of stalking Stacey, Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and Martin Fowler (James Bye) discover the truth and Theo reveals all to a horrified Stacey during Monday's episode (September 4) of the BBC soap.

As thing are set to reach an explosive conclusion, Daily Star has looked into actor William's life away from the soap.
Wife's vow
William, 42, married Alice Hobden in 2021 in Barnes, West London.
The road to love wasn't easy for the couple as Alice made a rule to never date an actor after working with several on set as a camera assistant.
But things changed when she met William and in 2011, they rented a flat together.
Speaking to The Times, Alice admitted she was uncertain at walking down the aisle with the BBC star, having been briefly married once before.
"It was a little bit scary,” she told the publication. "I didn’t have a history of seeing marriages survive or do well."
But things fell into place after William proposed, and the newly engaged couple planned their wedding within a fortnight.
However, their nuptials didn't occur until eight years later.
William and Alice had initially planned to tie the knot in July 2020, however the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to change the date twice.
They managed to walk down the aisle one year later, marrying front of 85 guests at Barnes Healing Church.
Baby heartache
William and Alice were delighted when they fell pregnant with their first child after starting IVF.
Tragically, their son, Dash, was born prematurely in 2017 at just 25 weeks.
Baby Dash survived for one week before passing away, leaving the couple devastated.
After a "miserable" two years, the couple welcomed another son, Odie, on the same date Dash passed away.
The arrival of their son is what allowed them to return to the idea of getting married again.
"We were stronger and closer than we ever have been," Alice told The Times. "That was the absolute certainty for me that this is exactly what I want.
"We wanted more joy in our lives. We’d had a miserable two years. We just wanted something with all our family and friends and it just suddenly was the right time."
Career
William trained at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2005 and kicked off his career on stage.
The TV star has appeared in a number of productions, including Romeo and Juliet, The Importance of Being Earnest and Cinderella.
In 2018, William played the role of Hartley Beddington in an episode of Doctors.
