Zoe Henry has confirmed a character return as part of a new storyline for Rhona Goskirk in Emmerdale.
Rhona recently organised a Face Your Fears day for Mary (Louise Jameson), Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Paddy (Dominic Brunt). They were all struggling to face ordeals that were impacting moving forward in their lives, so Rhona decided to do something about it.
The scenes saw Mary go on a date, Paddy open up about the death of his daughter, and Marlon drive in specially adapted car after his stroke.
Focus will turn back to Rhona soon as she faces someone from her past in a major new storyline.
‘I’ve got somebody from my dim and distant past coming back’, Zoe Henry confirmed to Metro.co.uk while at the CUREUsher ball.
Zoe wasn’t able to reveal anymore details, leaving us intrigued as to what lies ahead for her character.
The actress was also joined by Charlotte Bellamy and Katherine Dow Blyton. Charlotte, who plays Laurel Thomas, wondered ‘but will she be for long?’ when reflecting on Laurel being happily married to Jai (Chris Bisson).
The CUREUsher ball was set up by the charity as well as Emmerdale stars Mark Jordon and Laura Norton, who have two children with Usher syndrome.
Katherine, who left last October after her character Harriet Finch was killed off, was thrilled to spend the evening with her friends and joked that she ‘must start watching!’, when Charlotte and Zoe hinted at what’s to come in the ITV soap.
