Emmerdales Amy attacked after warning Mack hell never see son Reuben again

Emmerdale’s Amy Wyatt is set to be attacked as she warns Mackenzie Boyd that he will never see his son, Reuben, again.

It has been an eventful few months for Mackenzie after he decided to choose his ex, Charity Dingle, over his fiancee, Chloe Harris.

He finally plucked up the courage to leave Chloe and go back to Charity, but as a result, the new mum fled the village with their son and has not been seen since.

Despite not speaking to Mackenzie, Chloe has been in touch with her sister, Amy, and her partner Matty Barton.

However, that makes things complicated for Matty as he is Mackenzie’s nephew. Next week, he decides to keep the truth about Chloe and Reuben away from Mackenzie, causing tension in the family.

As Matty’s mum and Mackenzie’s sister, Moira Dingle, looks ahead to the festive period, she tells both boys that she wants a big family Christmas and asks Matty to convince Amy to join them.

However, Mackenzie is struggling with the thought of sitting around the table with Amy as he grieves his missing son.

With that in mind, a huge argument erupts between Amy and Matty, and he cracks and tells Mackenzie the truth.

Matty informs Mackenzie that he and Amy are heading out of the village to go and see Chloe and the little one tomorrow.

As Mackenzie processes the information, he rushes to Charity with the hope that he may finally get his son back.

When the day arrives, Mackenzie and Charity follow Amy and Matty as they leave Emmerdale.

However, when they get stopped at some temporary traffic lights, Matty is horrified, and Amy is furious to see Mackenzie and Charity behind them.

They end up arguing, and Mackenzie snatches Amy’s phone and arranges a meet-up with Chloe, pretending to be Amy.

Oblivious to what is going on, Chloe excitedly gets ready to meet Amy in a park nearby, but a careless word in a text from Mackenzie on Amy’s phone leads to her working out it is a trap.

She quickly replies to the text to tell him that he will never see his son again, and Mackenzie’s despair turns into fury.

Amy then slams Mackenzie for isolating Chloe even further.

Things get worse for Mackenzie, as Matty then accuses him of destroying his relationship with Amy.

As Mackenzie replies in a sarcastic tone, Matty punches him, leaving Mackenzie in turmoil.

Amy warns Mackenzie he will never see his son again, and blames Matty for leaving Chloe isolated, alone and on the run, and Matty heads off defeated.

Things get worse for Amy, as when she arrives at the HOP, she is grabbed by a hooded figure, will Amy be okay? And who has attacked her?
