Ethan cheats on Sienna with Dilly in Hollyoaks as they passionately kiss
Ethan Williams (Matthew James Bailey) broke all of our hearts in Hollyoaks on Wednesday (August 30), sharing a passionate kiss with Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith).
Consider us devastated.
Dilly, as viewers know, was sent to rehab by concerned brother Rafe (Chris Gordon) earlier this year, after he was led to believe by Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) that she’d relapsed.
This, of course, wasn’t actually the case, as Sienna had planted drugs on Dilly in a bid to get her out of the picture so that she could proceed with her elaborate scheme to swindle Rafe out of his fortune without Dilly watching her every move.
Ethan, despite being the one to devise their twisted money-making scheme, thought this was a step too far, as he’d bonded with Dilly and had grown to like her.
The bad boy was left further upset when we found him in Wednesday’s offering of the Channel 4 soap – following Sienna’s hug with Rafe earlier this week, which came shortly after she’d agreed to cut ties with the rich Earl.
But the couple’s attention was soon elsewhere when they received word from Rafe that Dilly had left rehab weeks ago – and no-one has seen her since.
Ethan came to the rescue, locating missing Dilly at The Loft, with Sienna soon showing up afterwards, ordering her beau to keep her distracted.
When Rafe arrived at the club, all hell broke loose, with a drunk Dilly refusing to go home with her brother, with Ethan stepping in to defend her, much to Sienna’s dismay.

Dilly was appreciative of the bar manager’s efforts, kissing him as a result. Ethan pulled back, still clearly hung up on Sienna and not wanting to take advantage, but Dilly moved in for another kiss – and this time Ethan didn’t fight it.
Our Ethenna-shipping hearts are shattered.
The question is: will Ethan and Dilly go all the way? What’s more, how will Senna react when she finds out what has transpired? Is this truly the end of one of soap’s best couples?
Hollyoaks continues Thursday August 31 at 7pm on E4 or stream the next episode from midnight on All4.
