Great British Bake Off shares first look at Alison Hammond as shows new host
Great British Bake Off teaser trailer
A teaser trailer for The Great British Bake Off, which gives fans a glimpse into this year’s presenting line-up has been released by Channel 4.
The trailer follows eggs, with smiley faces drawn on them, making their way into the famous Bake Off tent before they are whisked up and turned into an appealing dessert with flour, butter and chocolate.
Alongside the eggs are grinning raspberries which are placed on top of a delicious cake before the show’s newest recruit Alison Hammond and her co-stars tuck into the sweet treat.
This Morning star Alison is joined in the tent by co-presenter Noel Fielding and judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.
The playful trailer will air this evening (Wednesday, August 30) on Channel 4 at 6.58pm.

Fans will recall Alison appeared as a baker in 2020 for Celebrity Bake Off, but this time around she will be welcoming a group of contestants into the tent.
Channel 4’s Chief Content Officer Ian Katz added: “Alison is much loved, effortlessly funny and the owner of the best laugh in Britain.
“She was a huge hit when she appeared on Celebrity Bake Off and we’re thrilled to have her back in the tent.”
Prue lifted the lid on what it was like to work alongside Alison for the show earlier this year.
She told The Sun: “I’m just glad to have another woman there because I’ll tell you what, those three men together, half the time I didn’t get the jokes because I never get innuendos.”
“A word like sausage would set them off,” the 83-year-old concluded.
Alison’s predecessor Matt hosted the show alongside Noel between 2020 and 2022.
