I'm A Celeb's Nicola McLean persuaded her chaperone to take her out for booze before entering the jungle.
The 2008 series star managed to talk her personal chaperone into sneaking her out of the hotel where all of the celebrities stayed in order to go get some more alcohol. Nicola told us: "We were on the Gold Coast. It was brilliant.
"Yeah, I persuaded her to take me out and said it would be fine because I'm not that well known. Then we bumped into a load of guys who noticed me.

"They started singing the Page 3 song out loud, and my chaperone was like 'Oh my god, I thought you said people wouldn't recognise you? And I was like 'Oops', but it was definitely worth it."
The former Page 3 model revealed she almost didn't get on the plane to travel to the show as she didn't want to leave her baby. However, again her chaperone "saved the day" and got rid of her anxiety by encouraging her to down drinks at the airport.
Nicola said: "Yeah, I was really worried about leaving Rocky because he was so young. So I was really worried about that. And she was like 'How about we have a glass of champagne then?' And I said, I said, 'Yeah, let's do it'. And then as soon as I had a couple of champagnes, I thought it would be."
The reality star also shared her thoughts on the 2023 lineup and had some choice words to say about Nigel Farage and Jamie Lynn Spears. Nicola said: "I don't know Nigel Farage, but the problem is no one will confront anything will they?
"So you know, you're gonna get the same thing that you did with Matt Hancock. I mean, I don't think he's worse than Matt Hancock, don't get me wrong. I just don't think anyone will."
She added: "I think Jamie Lynn will be nice but how much Britney goss will you get because of legal reasons, I don't know. I don't think she should be f***ing on it.
"I'm a massive Britney fan and I finished her book recently and the way her family treated her is appalling. The book can't be lies either because it had to go through legal to be able to be published.
"Her sister didn't have her back at all and Britney worked all of her life so that her family could live well. My sister would never have let that happen to me. I'm telling you that now.
"Now she's capitalising on Brittany's pain yet again. No, I really hate her. Even if she's the nicest girl in the world, I do not want her in the jungle. It is just another kick in the vagina for Britney really."
