Inside Oti Mabuse’s stunning townhouse as pregnant star prepares for first Christmas in the UK ahead of baby’s birth | The Sun

Oti Mabuse has shown fans inside her elegant London home as she prepared for her first family Christmas in the UK.

The former Strictly Come Dancing pro, 33, announced she is expecting her first child with husband Marius Lepure at the end of August.

TV star Oti filmed a clip of her putting up her Christmas tree in her new living room, which features wood flooring and a skylight window in the ceiling.

The Dancing on Ice judge showed off the modern room with a large black leather sofa and white walls, plus a huge dining table and grey toned kitchen.

Oti penned: "Our first Christmas in the UK with family over, What would we be without our family and friends?

"Putting up the Christmas tree, I say this a lot but my sister in law is the sister I never had (fridge, house and cupboards cleaned I bet and that’s who she is) our friends and parents of course, love you can’t wait to put presents underneath and celebrate with you."

Oti has kept her followers up to date with snaps of her blossoming baby bump but has now opened up about the downsides of her pregnancy journey.

In a recent workout video uploaded to social media, the star said she’s been struggling with Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD).

According to the NHS, SPD, also called pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain (PGP), is a collection of uncomfortable symptoms caused by stiffness of your pelvic joints or the joints moving unevenly at either the back or front of your pelvis.

While it does not cause any harm to the baby, it can be painful and impact mobility.

Oti took to Instagram to explain how the symptoms have impacted her exercise routine.

"I completely fell off the bandwagon with my fitness and I immediately could feel it when I went back," she wrote.

"My core strength was not what it was, my balance was off and my ability to hold certain positions was gone.

"The pain started really slow but at night while sleeping would intensify (I’m not wearing a belt yet but as weeks go on I definitely will)."

She added: ""My level of activity depends on how severe my SPD is that day. It can be very frustrating if you used to exercise regularly and have to stop. Walking, sitting, driving all become a bit painful."

"I know I’m not alone dealing SPD – how are you dealing or dealt with it?"

Oti and her husband Marius made the surprise announcement that they are expecting live on her ITV show Oti Mabuse’s Breakfast Show this summer.
